Best Wearable Black Friday Deals 2026

Best Wearable Black Friday Deals 2026
Deal status, October 27, 2026: Not a deal yet. No wearable in this guide has a verified Black Friday price decrease at this time. The prices in the table below are regular street prices, not sale prices. In this category, prices changed in the week of Black Friday (November 23 to 27) last year. This header changes to "Deal live" when a tracked price decreases below its recent average by a significant margin. We use the price history in the benchmark section below for that decision, not the "was" price of a retailer.
The short version: The Apple Watch Series 12 is the best smartwatch for iPhone owners: $389.99 at Amazon at this time, with a new sensor that measures heart rate at intervals of five seconds. The lowest recorded price is $349.99 (October 5, 2026), and the average price is $379.66. The Garmin Venu 4 is the fitness-first pick, with battery life up to 12 days and no subscription: $549.99 at Amazon, with a lowest recorded price of $497.99 (November 26, 2025) and an average price of $529.28. The Oura Ring 4 is the screen-free tracker for sleep and recovery: $349 at Amazon, plus a mandatory subscription of $5.99 per month. Its price decreased to $249 in Black Friday 2025, and the lowest recorded price is $214.70 (June 27, 2026).
How this guide works: We do not operate a test laboratory. We read the published reviews from review organizations and give their conclusions in our own words, with the points of agreement and disagreement. We give links to the original reviews where links are available. The section "How we compiled this" below gives the full method.
The prices (October 2026)
| Product | Price now | Deal? | Lowest ever | Average price | List price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Apple Watch Series 12 (GPS, 42mm) | $389.99 | No | $349.99 (Oct 5, 2026) | $379.66 | $399 |
| Garmin Venu 4 (41mm) | $549.99 | No | $497.99 (Nov 26, 2025) | $529.28 | $549.99 |
| Oura Ring 4 (Silver) | $349 | No | $214.70 (Jun 27, 2026) | $345.01 | $349 |
We observed these street prices in October 2026. The sources are below. No price in this table is a Black Friday price at this time. The benchmark section shows the prices from last year.
How we compiled this
For this guide, we used these sources: the Macworld review of the Apple Watch Series 12; the Series 12 review summaries from Engadget, CNET, and BGR, through AppleInsider forums and RealDigitalTech; the Notebookcheck news reports, with the iFixit teardown and reports from owners; the MacObserver reports about independent accuracy tests; the Android Central review of the Garmin Venu 4; the Venu 4 review consensus from SoundsNerdy; the Digital Trends review of the Oura Ring 4; and long-term Ring 4 tests from independent review sites. The prices are October 2026 data from MacRumors and iClarified (Series 12), the New York Post shopping desk and Technobezz (Oura Ring 4), and CamelCamelCamel records for all three products, verified on October 27, 2026. Each price has a date in the text.
We state the gaps in our data clearly. Long-term tests of the Series 12 are not complete. The watch became available on September 18, 2026, and the accuracy data comes from early tests only. We could not verify current Wirecutter reports about these three models. The benchmark below uses Black Friday 2025 reports and tracked price records. The current prices, the average prices, and the lowest recorded prices in this guide come from CamelCamelCamel records, verified on October 27, 2026. Wearables also have continuing costs: the Oura subscription, cellular plans, and replacement bands. We include these costs in our calculations.
What happened last year: the Black Friday 2025 benchmark
We cannot know the sale prices of 2026 in advance. A website that states those prices as facts makes a guess. The table below shows the data for this category from last year, from Black Friday 2025 reports and tracked price records:
| Wearable (2025 season) | Regular price | Black Friday 2025 price | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Apple Watch Series 11 (GPS, 42mm) | $399 | $339 ($60 off) at Amazon | Thurrott Black Friday 2025 roundup |
| Apple Watch SE 3 (GPS, 40mm) | $249 | $199 ($50 off) | Thurrott Black Friday 2025 roundup |
| Oura Ring 4 | $349 | $249 ($100 off) at Amazon, Best Buy, and Oura | Gadget Review and TechBuzz roundups |
| Garmin Venu 4 | $549.99 | $497.99 tracked on Nov 26, 2025 | CamelCamelCamel lowest recorded price |
The data gives two conclusions. First, the smart ring had the largest wearable discount of 2025: $100 off the Ring 4, reported as its lowest price at that time, at all large retailers at the same time. Second, timing is important: the TechBuzz analysis shows that wearables in 2025 usually reached their lowest price in early December, not on Black Friday. The Apple Watch Series 11 reached its lowest price on December 2.
How to tell if this year's discount is real
We call a price a deal when the price is lower than the price one month before and lower than the recent average price. A deal does not have to be the lowest price in history. We show the lowest price ever recorded for each product, with its date, in all cases.
Apple Watch Series 12 (GPS, 42mm): The best smartwatch for iPhone owners

The Apple Watch Series 12 became available on September 18, 2026, at the same $399 start price as the Series 11. Reviewers noted this fact with surprise, because Apple increased many other prices in 2026. The main hardware change is health measurement. A new sensor design measures heart rate in the background at intervals of five seconds. Previous generations measured at intervals of some minutes. The sensor measures heart rate variability more frequently. The data gives a new daily Readiness score, the Apple equivalent of the recovery scores from Garmin and Oura. The rated battery life is up to 24 hours, or 38 hours in Low Power Mode. A charge of 15 minutes gives up to 12 hours of use. The first significant discount came early: $349.99 at Amazon on October 5, 2026, reported by MacRumors as a new lowest price, and the price remained $350 after Prime Day, per Macworld (October 8, 2026). The price increased after that period. The current price is $389.99, and the average price is $379.66.
What the reviews say
- Macworld review. The conclusion about the product is positive. The conclusion about the marketing is not. Macworld advises readers to be careful with some Apple health claims. Macworld also notes a real benefit for buyers: the Series 12 kept the $399 entry price in a year when Apple increased Mac, iPad, and iPhone prices. Only the larger 46mm models increased.
- Engadget, via the RealDigitalTech review roundup. Engadget describes the Series 12 as probably the most significant Apple Watch upgrade in years, and the new single-tap gesture as a significant change to the use of the watch.
- CNET, via AppleInsider's forum roundup. CNET measured approximately 30 hours of battery life, better than the Apple rating of 24 hours. In a run of 3 miles, the heart rate data had a close agreement with a Polar H10 chest strap.
- The Quantified Scientist (Rob ter Horst), via MacObserver. Independent sensor tests show a very close agreement with a Polar H10: a correlation of 1.0 for indoor cycling, 0.98 for running, and 0.97 for a third type of exercise.
- DC Rainmaker, via MacObserver. DC Rainmaker reports an early software fault. The Readiness scores updated with a delay of up to four hours in his test. Apple states that a correction is in preparation.
- Notebookcheck news coverage. Notebookcheck reports two points for caution. Some owners report skin irritation and redness below the new sensor on the back of the watch, and Apple Support offered returns in some cases. The iFixit teardown gives a repairability score of 4 out of 10, an improvement from previous models because of a battery pull tab, but the watch is not easy to repair.
Consensus: The health measurement change is real, not only marketing. Independent tests confirm the heart rate accuracy, and battery tests give results better than the Apple rating. The points of disagreement are about finish: the Readiness score had software faults at launch, and the health claims require the caution that Macworld describes.
Honest drawbacks: The Series 12 works with iPhone only, and a daily charge works against the sleep measurement that the new sensors support. The Readiness function requires data from seven nights before it operates, and its scores had software faults at launch. The watch does not measure blood pressure. It gives hypertension notifications only, and deal reports that state the opposite are not correct. Some users report skin irritation from the new sensor. Repairability is low, at 4 out of 10 from iFixit.
Best for: iPhone owners who want the best smartwatch functions and serious health measurement, and anyone with an upgrade from a Series 9 or an older model.
Not for: Android users, users who want a battery life of many days, and Series 11 owners. For Series 11 owners, the upgrade is small.

- Chip: Apple S11 | Case: 42mm aluminum, Ceramic Shield 2 | Health: heart rate every 5 seconds, HRV, Readiness score, ECG, sleep score, hypertension and sleep apnea notifications | Battery: up to 24 hours rated (about 30 tested by CNET), 38 hours Low Power | List price: $399 | Street price: $389.99 at Amazon (October 27, 2026); lowest recorded $349.99 (October 5, 2026); average $379.66
Garmin Venu 4 (41mm): The fitness-first pick

The Garmin Venu 4 became available on September 22, 2025, at $549.99 for both sizes. It is the main Garmin smartwatch: a stainless steel case, an AMOLED display, dual-band GPS, ECG, and an integrated flashlight. Garmin rates the battery life at up to 12 days. Product lists for the 41mm model give up to 10 days, and we use the lower value in comparisons. The watch has no subscription. This is a deliberate Garmin decision: you own all data that the watch measures.
Its price is the most stable price in this guide. The full price data is in the prices table and the benchmark section above. The pattern is normal for Garmin: small discounts, but at predictable times.
What the reviews say
- Android Central review. The conclusion is positive in total. Android Central asks one question clearly: does the Venu 4 justify a price $100 higher than the Venu 3? Their reports give the new hardware as the justification: a brighter display, a flashlight, and improved sensors. The price is the permanent objection.
- SoundsNerdy review consensus. The average score is 86.5 out of 100 from 10 reviews. The individual scores are between 80 and 90, and the CNET score is 85. No review gives a negative conclusion, and no review describes the watch as perfect.
- Owner and reviewer consensus items. Owners mention the integrated flashlight most frequently. The dual-band GPS and the ECG are the main specification points. The frequent complaint is the design with two buttons, which makes some navigation slower than the Garmin sport watches with five buttons.
Consensus: The Venu 4 has the most consistent review record in this guide: good measurement accuracy, long battery life, and no subscription. Reviewers return frequently to one point: the price is higher than the price of the previous model and the prices of the competitors. The only real question is if the improvements from the Venu 3 justify $549.99. A Black Friday discount gives an answer to that question.
Honest drawbacks: At list price, the Venu 4 costs $200 more than the discounted Series 12 and has fewer smartwatch functions. Its application system is not equal to watchOS. Garmin gives no cellular option in this class. You can read notifications, but you can answer almost no notifications. Some users find the two buttons difficult. The Garmin application gives much data, but it is less easy to use than the applications from Apple and Oura. The holiday discounts of Garmin are small in past years, so the benefit of a wait for Black Friday is smaller for this watch.
Best for: Runners, persons who exercise regularly, and health trackers who charge one time each week. Android users who want a premium watch. Persons who do not accept wearable subscriptions.
Not for: Buyers who want applications, calls, and a voice assistant on the wrist, and bargain hunters who wait for large holiday discounts.

- Case: 41mm stainless steel | Display: AMOLED | GPS: dual-band (multi-band) | Health: ECG, heart rate, HRV, sleep, Body Battery | Extras: built-in flashlight, speaker and mic | Battery: up to 12 days claimed (41mm listings cite up to 10) | List price: $549.99 | Street price: $549.99 at Amazon (October 27, 2026); average $529.28; lowest recorded $497.99 (November 26, 2025)
Oura Ring 4 (Silver, Size 9): The screen-free tracker

The Oura Ring 4 is a wearable for persons who do not want to wear a watch or a band. It is a titanium ring with no screen and no vibration function. Its battery life is up to eight days. The ring measures sleep, recovery, and long-term health trends. The start price is $349 for the Silver, Black, and Gold finishes. The Brushed and Stealth finishes have a price of $399, and the Rose Gold finish has a price of $499. The Oura Ring 5 became available in June 2026, so the Ring 4 is now the low-price option in its own product line. The Ring 4 follows the same pattern as the older models in this guide. CamelCamelCamel records a lowest price of $214.70 (June 27, 2026) for this ring, below the Black Friday 2025 price of $249.
One condition is mandatory: the membership. The first month is free. After the first month, the price is $5.99 per month. Without membership, you lose most of the detailed data, and the ring exists to collect that data. Include $71.88 per year in your budget, in addition to the hardware price. This cost continues for the life of the product. If you do not accept this cost, the alternative is a Garmin.
What the reviews say
- Digital Trends review. The start price is $349 for the standard finishes, the battery life is up to eight days, and the build material is titanium. Digital Trends states the subscription clearly: $5.99 per month after the first free month, necessary for the full data.
- MyRingSizeCalculator, 90-plus day long-term review. The total score is 9.2 out of 10. Sleep tracking has a score of 9.5, the best score in the class. The literature in the review validates the sleep data against clinical polysomnography. HRV and Readiness have a score of 9.1, design and comfort 9.3, and battery 8.4. The weak points are activity tracking at 7.5, satisfactory for steps but not for serious athletes, and value at 8.2. Their conclusion: buy with confidence if your targets are sleep, HRV recovery, or women's health. The subscription is the only compromise.
- Health Review Desk, clinician's review. This review agrees that the Ring 4 is the most advanced ring for 24-hour wellness and recovery. It describes the sleep and readiness scores as "unparalleled for non-medical devices." It gives value and membership a score of 6.5 out of 10 and describes the hardware price plus the mandatory fee as a major barrier. Activity coaching is minimal: the Ring 4 is a specialist tool for recovery, not a replacement for a fitness watch.
Consensus: The Ring 4 gives the best sleep and recovery measurement in ring form, with accuracy that tests validate. All sources give the same two points for caution: the subscription is a structural part of the product, not an option, and exercise measurement is the weak function. If your target is training, buy the Garmin. If your target is sleep and readiness, the Ring 4 is the leader in its category.
Honest drawbacks: In three years, the total price of the ring is approximately $565, similar to the price of the Venu 4, with much less exercise capability. Oura uses its own size system, so order the free sizing kit and wear a sizer for one day before you buy. This step is important during Black Friday week, when return periods are short. The ring has no screen, no notifications, no GPS, and no exercise controls. A ring receives scratches and impacts that a watch does not receive, and the finish changes the price by up to $150.
Best for: Buyers with a focus on sleep, athletes with a focus on recovery who train with other tools, and persons who do not like a watch in bed.
Not for: Persons who use exercise measurement as the main function, persons who do not accept subscriptions, and persons who want notifications and calls on the wrist.

- Build: titanium | Sizes: 4 to 15 (Oura sizing, use the sizing kit) | Battery: up to 8 days | Tracks: sleep stages, HRV, resting heart rate, temperature trends, SpO2, readiness | Subscription: $5.99/mo after first month, required for full data | List price: $349 (Silver) | Street price: $349 at Amazon; lowest recorded $214.70 (June 27, 2026); Ceramic finish $319.99 (September 22, 2026, Technobezz)
Head-to-head: the dimensions that matter
Price, with a complete calculation: The Series 12 has the lowest price, at a current price of $389.99. The Ring 4 has the same hardware price of $349 and then adds $71.88 for each year of use, so in year two its total price is higher than the price of the Garmin. The Venu 4 has the highest purchase price, $549.99, and the lowest ownership price, because it has no subscription.
Battery life: Ring 4: up to 8 days. Venu 4: up to 10 to 12 days. Series 12: approximately one day, or 30 hours if the CNET test agrees with your use. If a frequent charge is a problem for you, the Apple Watch is not the correct product for you. Its sensors do not change that fact.
Health tracking: The Series 12 has the best heart rate accuracy in this guide, at the level of a chest strap in independent tests. The Ring 4 is the best product for sleep stages and for comfort in the night. The Venu 4 is the best product for exercise, with dual-band GPS and training data, and it does not require a phone.
Smart features: The Series 12 is the only real smartwatch in this guide, with applications, calls, messages, and a voice assistant. The Venu 4 gives notifications and basic functions. The Ring 4 gives no smart features. This is a deliberate design decision.
Platform: The Series 12 works with iPhone only. The Venu 4 and the Ring 4 work with iPhone and Android.
Subscriptions: Ring 4: $5.99 per month for the full data. Series 12 and Venu 4: no subscription for the measurement functions. Apple Fitness+ and cellular plans are separate, optional products.
Who should buy each one
- Get the Apple Watch Series 12 if: you have an iPhone and want the complete smartwatch and the new health measurement, at a price of $349.99 or less. Buy the Apple Watch Series 12
- Get the Garmin Venu 4 if: you train regularly, you want a battery life of more than one week, and you do not accept subscriptions. A price below the average of $529.28 is a real deal. Buy the Garmin Venu 4
- Get the Oura Ring 4 if: sleep and recovery are your targets, you accept the membership, and you find the ring at a price of $299 or less. The price target is $249 if the price of last year comes again. Buy the Oura Ring 4
Frequently asked questions
Is the Oura Ring 4 subscription really mandatory?
Not to wear the ring. In practice, yes: without membership, you lose the detailed sleep stages, the readiness analysis, and the trend data that all reviews praise. The first month is free, then $5.99 per month. The benchmark section above gives the year-one total at the target price.
Apple Watch or Garmin for running?
For most runners, the correct choice is Garmin: dual-band GPS accuracy, physical buttons that operate with gloves and sweat, training load data, and a battery that operates for a full marathon training block with no charge each night. The Series 12 gives better smart features, cellular options, and very good heart rate accuracy. If you run with your iPhone and use the Apple applications each day, the Series 12 is the better daily watch for you.
Should I buy the Oura Ring 4 or wait for a Ring 5 deal?
The Ring 5 exists, and this fact makes the Ring 4 the Black Friday value product. Buy the Ring 5 only if its specific improvements are important to you at the full price. The data of the Ring 4 is not obsolete.
When do wearable deals actually bottom out?
Later than most buyers expect. The benchmark section above gives the 2025 data: the ring reached $249 in Black Friday week, and the watches reached their lowest prices in early December. Our strategy follows that pattern. Buy the ring in Black Friday week if the price is $249. For the watches, wait until Cyber Monday and the first week of December before you decide that a price is final.
Does the Apple Watch Series 12 measure blood pressure?
No. The watch gives hypertension notifications. These notifications identify patterns that can indicate possible high blood pressure over time. The watch does not measure blood pressure, and no consumer watch in this guide measures blood pressure. Deal reports that state the opposite are not correct, and the advice from the Macworld review is applicable here: be careful with the strongest health claims.
What size Oura Ring should I order?
Oura sizes are not equal to standard ring sizes. Use the free sizing kit. Wear the plastic sizer for one full day or more, because the size of a finger changes with temperature and with the time of day. Select the size for your index finger or your middle finger, where the sensors give the best data. Do not make a guess during a sale of one day. A wrong size gives bad data and bad comfort.
Our recommendations
- Best for iPhone owners: Apple Watch Series 12. Independent tests verify the health measurement change. The current price is $389.99. A price of $349.99 matches the lowest recorded price, and a price of $329 or less on Black Friday is the signal to buy.
- Best for fitness and battery: Garmin Venu 4. This watch has the most stable review record in this guide, battery life up to 12 days, and no subscription. A price below the average of $529.28 is a deal, and at $497.99 the price matches its lowest recorded price.
- Best for sleep and recovery: Oura Ring 4. This ring gives the best sleep measurement in its category, in a ring you can forget on your finger. The Black Friday target price is $249, the price of last year. Include the membership of $5.99 per month in your calculation before you make a decision.
